GALLERY WALK

One of the most useful methods of ensuring that students are actively engaged in learning experiences is cooperative learning. Cooperative learning is the instructional use of small groups so that students work together to maximize their own and each other’s learning.
One of the techniques for implementing cooperative learning in the classroom is the Gallery Walk. We could define the gallery walk as an active teaching technique that lets students walk around the classroom to read, analyze, and evaluate other students’ work. They would then provide feedback or offer ways to improve others’ ideas through written notes on paper or verbal comments. However, this is a quite versatile activity and can be carried out in many different ways. In our case, we used this technique using a shared Power Point in order to check out our group members' Wix pages and give them warm and cool feedback.
From my point of view, this is a very innovative and useful activity. It's grateful to know what your classmates, who are in the same position as you, think about your work from a constructive approach so as to improve your learning and to identify your weak as well as your strong areas. In addition, in this Gallery Walk we have access to all the Wix Pages of our classmates, so we can enrich ourselves and learn from the stories and ideas of all them.
